Storage and travel
Fridge vs freezer, lyophilized vs mixed, and how not to cook a vial in a car.
Unmixed
Lyophilized powder is the stable form. Fridge is fine; freezer is reasonable for long storage if the label allows. Avoid freeze–thaw cycling once mixed.
Mixed
2–8 °C. Do not freeze reconstituted peptides unless a specific monograph says to. Keep away from light. GHK-Cu looking blue is normal; everything else should be water-clear.
Travel
Insulated pouch with a cold pack, not in checked luggage hold if you can avoid it, and never on the dashboard. Airport rules vary; a prescription-labeled branded pen is a different situation from an unlabeled research vial.
